As one of the world’s leading industrial show, this year’s Hannover Trade Fair (Hannover Messe) took place from 24-28 April. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, as well as Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Beata Szydlo, opened the show.
This year’s theme of Hannover Messe was “Integrated Industry—Creating Value”. Its highlights include Industry 4.0, Integrated Energy, Smart Materials & Coatings; and more than 500 Industry 4.0 applications were exhibited.
The group exhibit of hydrogen, fuel cells and batteries at Hannover Messe is Europe’s largest exhibition of the field. Topics include hydrogen generation, storage and transport, fuel cell systems and applications, battery testing and stationary batteries.
New micro-carbon fibers nowadays can keep electric drives in gear; water quality has been substantially improved by diamond coatings technology, and pioneering ceramic 3D printing gives form to lightweight engineering. These technologies all set standards for the environment and increase efficiencies of systems and machines.
Technologies, such as the development of wireless pressure monitoring, enables manufacturers to provide more tailor-made intelligent technical solutions for clients.
Cobots, Grippers, and Glasses are highlights of this year’s Hannover Messe.
Glasses can be intelligent such that the smart specs support maintenance: workers record live video images of faulty machines and transmit them directly to the technician, who provides remote assistance, and the worker sees the steps he or she must carry out on the glasses’ smart display.
At this year’s Hannover Messe, we have had pleasant meetings with many exhibitors and potential clients, and we are looking forward to furthering cooperation.
