Marquesa Van Leung
Marquesa is a Hong Kong-based entrepreneur, who has founded and manages several companies in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Europe and advises others how to improve their international business and trade relations.
Before as a business consultant for more than 15 years she was providing business related services to clients and has established a strong client base in Hong Kong and Great China. She assisted European and Asian companies in searching for trade partners and investment projects as well as in starting up companies and business development.
Marquesa holds a Master for Civil and Commercial code in Beijing China University of Political Science and Law and qualified as Legal Counselor in early 2014. She studied Hong Kong law and finance at Hong Kong University before.
Dr. Jochen Biedermann
Jochen is a highly experienced consultant in the financial industry and beyond. Based in Frankfurt and Hong Kong, he supports financial centres, stock exchanges, regulatory authorities and corporates in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
For the financial center of Frankfurt, he takes care of developing partnerships with other leading international financial centers. He is also in charge of marketing for Frankfurt as a so-called “offshore RMB center“, which help German small- and medium-size companies facilitating payment with their Chinese partners and reducing their costs. Furthermore, he supports leading cities in establishing vibrant start-up ecosystems and in supporting young companies with new business ideas in finance and technology.
From 1999 to 2013 Jochen worked in different leading positions for Deutsche Börse Group, a leading and fully integrated global exchange organisation. As SVP for International Affairs he was in charge of Deutsche Börse Group’s business in emerging markets. Between 2001 and 2005 he was also a lecturer at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
Jochen holds a doctorate in mathematics with an associate’s degree at the University of Cottbus and a degree in mathematics / computer science at the University of Göttingen. He is Research Professor for FinTech & Blockchain at the International Innovation Center of Hankou University, Wuhan.
Yuxing is a Capital Market expert with over 20 years of experience in investment and capital operations between China and Europe.
From 2007 to 2016, Yuxing was Vice President of Deutsche Börse Group. He was responsible for sales and marketing of Deutsche Börse Group in Asia-Pacific. He successfully assisted more than 30 Asian companies having their IPOs at Deutsche Börse.
Yuxing has extensive cooperation and contacts with investment banks, institutional investors, auditors, law firms and other intermediaries in Europe and Asia to provide comprehensive services for corporate listing, bond issuance, mergers and acquisitions, and investment.
Nina is our expert in legal issues and manages our Chinese legal teams. She has many years experience as a company lawyer in several major Chinese state-owned enterprises, foreign and Chinese companies as well as in development projects of local governments in China. She specializes in corporate and contract law and the protection of intellectual property. In addition, it has extensive knowledge in the areas of reorganization and restructuring of companies, mergers and acquisitions and financing matters.
Nina advises our clients on all legal matters when investing in China. It stands to regularly in close contact with the Chinese government and support our customers in the planning and negotiation of investment aid with the relevant authorities.
Nina has completed her master’s degree from China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing and is licensed lawyer in China.
Prof. Peter Sachsenmeier
Peter is a strategist, expert in complex technology management, industrial innovator and visionary.
Peter teaches information management and large program management at major universities in the UK, Germany, and outside Europe. He has worked for the UN and several of its agencies, including the World Bank, UNESCO, WHO, and UNEP. He is the President of the Swiss accreditation organization for business analysts, IBAE.
Also, co-author of the book “Challenges between Competition and Collaboration: The Future of the European Manufacturing Industry”. A polyglot and at home in Oxford England where he started to teach at the eponymous university right at the beginning of his professional career, Peter was elected a member of the national German Academy for Science and Engineering (Acatech) in 2006. In China he serves as Vice President of Hankou University, Wuhan, and Director of its International Innovation Center.
He has a unique international network of contacts, access to investment projects and advanced technology research. His recent work deals with smart city technologies in an increasingly urban world, Industry 4.0, cyber-physical systems and with the business processes needed to manage sensory environments.
Yao has several years of work experience in financial services. Her current focus is on financial analysis, business analysis, valuations and investment modeling.
From 2015 to 2017, she worked for the Tibetan Crane Fund. She identified and evaluated potential investment projects (target firms) in Europe and in particular in German-speaking countries. Between 2011 and 2015, she was Investor Relations Manager of a Chinese Company listed in the Prime Standard of Deutsche Börse. She was responsible for managing all capital market relevant issues.
Yao holds Master degree in business administration from Erlangen-Nuremberg University in Germany and Bachelor degree from Nanjing Auditing University in China.
